Abstract

A field experiment was carried out in RBD with RCH-2BGII of Bt cotton variety to study the “Effect of Foliar Spray of different Nutrient Application on Growth and Yield Attributing Characters of Bt Cotton”. Result revealed that, application of MgSO4 spray @ 1% increased plant height (14.23%) and total dry matter production (12.28%) over control. Leaf area (79.45 dm2) and leaf area index (0.795dm2) was found to be higher by 14.91% and 15.05% respectively over cycoceal spray@500ppm. The number of bolls and seed cotton yield was significantly increased by foliar application of DAP spray@2% and found to be higher by 32.12% and 30.49% over control respectively. Application of foliar spray of different nutrient significantly increased growth parameters and yield attributing character as compared to control.
