Abstract

Long-term studies indicate high efficiency of the created objects of landscape agriculture that results in the improvement of the hydrothermal conditions of the area, essential reduction of surface runoffs and soil loss, as well as suppression of deflationary processes. The implementation of projects based on adaptive landscape farming system (ALFS) will allow creating a secure foundation to prevent land degradation, restore soil fertility, improve efficiency of agricultural production, as well as people’s quality of living.
