Hamid Ghadiri Sardasht and Amir Farajollahi Rod

Abstract

Today, high-rise building and increasing building’s height has a growing trend around the world. The most important issue that these buildings have due to the aggregation of users in a limited area is utilization and consumption of energy both during construction and during operation. So, it is necessary to take measures in designing residential garden tower for dealing with this issue to conserve non renewable resources aiming at its survival for future generations which is the most important objective of sustainable development. On the one hand, the principles deals with the proper operation of non-renewable energy resources and on the other hand the deals with the control and proper use of natural resources as non renewable and sustainable reserves. Given the importance of both problems and the need for simultaneous approach to the two categories mentioned in contemporary architecture, research entitled“residential garden tower with an approach to ecology design in Mashhad “ has been set, which aimed to take advantage of a durable nature, relying on solar energy to achieve heat energy, reuse of waste etc., to design a building that has the least negative effects on its environment.
