DYACHENKOAbstract The paper addresses the problem of the effect of apple geometrical parameters on the damage diameter and depth when dropping. Tests were comprised of four groups of experiments. Damages of apples with different geometrical parameters were studied when falling from different heights on most common materials of containers (wood, plastics, cardboard). The dependencies of apple damage on different factors are presented in graphics. Mathematical dependencies of bruise damage and depth on apple weight have been obtained.
