Abstract

This study aim to test the ability of Penicillium griseofulvum to produce secondary metabolism compounds and test the activity of these compounds in inhibition of the growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus Vulgaris, Enterococcus, Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumonia, also this study aim to understand the effect of fungal filtrate in some physiological and biochemical parameters of blood in male of rats. Also, this study aims to a comparison between the effect of chloroform part of fungal filtrate and crude fungal filtrate with some antibiotics in inhibition the growth of bacteria. This study showed the ability of Penicillium griseofulvum on produced antibacterial agent which have high ability in inhibition of the growth of bacteria, also this study showed variation between the effect of chloroform part of fungal filtrate and crude fungal filtrate. Comparison with some antibiotics in inhibition the growth of bacteria, of chloroform part of fungal filtrate, was higher effected in inhibition of the growth of bacteria with inhibition zone was 37.5 mm while the O Gmacil, crude fungal filtrate, Amoxicillin and Ampicillin were lees effected which were to be 32mm, 23.8mm, 8.6 mm and 4.5 mm respectively, physiological and biochemical values of blood in male of rats were variation between the group treated with Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, group treated with crude fungal filtrate and group treated with bacteria and crude fungal filtrate.
