A STUDY OF STRATEGIC PLAN FOR CONSERVATION AND SOCIETY IN THE SEHO SMALL ISLANDGun Mardiatmoko, Agustinus Kastanya, Debby Vemiancy Pattimahu and Murianto WennoAbstract A strategic plan is one of the most important tasks that managers in organizations are to accomplish. The aim of the paper is to develop an appropriate strategy for the Nature Preserve of Seho Small Island. The determination of nature preserve area is based mostly on the western distribution of Matoa (Pometia pinnata) and it is necessary to protect. To reach this goal, this study applies SWOT analysis along with QSPM and spatial analysis from Geographical Information System to determine area zoning of Seho Small Island and the priority of the strategic management. The results showed that position of the management was located in Quadrant I. It means that the management faces various Threats, but it still has the strengths from the internal aspects. The strategy necessary to develop was to use the strengths to utilize the opportunity, so that they can be used to solve weaknesses. Beside that, based on spatial analysis result it can be determined core zone, buffer zone and rehabilitation zone including watershed area.
