Oil pollution occurring in the oil-producing regions of the Caspian Sea offshore results in additional problems relating to the conservation of Biodiversity in the region. Therefore, the acquisition of knowledge about the state of the unique nature of the North Caspian Sea which is under heavy anthropogenic pressure, the study of the current state of the marine and coastal biota is an urgent problem for modern Kazakhstan. Researching the current state of the flora and vegetation by conducting monitoring studies makes it possible to create a database that will allow for further environmental monitoring of the coastal zone of the Northern Caspian Sea.
