Abstract

The results of experimental Nile tilapia breeding in fish breeding ponds of carp farm are presented. The database according to the dynamics of temperature and hydrochemical modes of experimental ponds is included. The table of realized fish breeding and melioration arrangements on the experimental ponds is presented. The comparative characteristics of fish breeding and biological parameters and rate of growth of Nile tilapia in small ponds in monoculture and polyculture with grass carp and pikeperch is given. The description of the experiment, the prescription of man-made experimental productive food for breeding of tilapia in ponds, the values of fish breeding biological parameters and feeding coefficient during the experiment are presented. The real opportunity to breed tilapia in conditions of carp farms of the south of Kazakhstan (VI fish breeding zone) is shown.
