COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF COENOPOPULATIONS OF GREEN STRAWBERRY FRAGARIA VIRIDIS (DUCH.) WESTON BY THE MAJOR PHYTOCOENOTIC AND ECONOMIC ATTRIBUTES IN NATURAL CONDITIONS (UBINSKY RIDGE)

Abstract

The article presents the data on the phytocoenotic and economic-morphological attributes of Fragariaviridis Duch. – green strawberry growing at the Ubinsky Ridge in the neighborhood of the village of Cheremshanka – Dolgy Uval, outside Orel city and in the neighborhood of the village of Orlovka. The ratio between the generative and vegetative species in the examined coenoses allows us to subsume them under the invasional and normal types of coenopopulations. Therefore, we can conclude about the capacity of population systems for self-maintenance and sustainability. The aim of the research is to identify the main trends in the state of coenopopulations of green strawberry in the above-mentioned habitats, to study the economic and morphological parameters of plants, and to select the best phytocoenoses for the introduction of this species in culture. For the first time, the study of populations and genetic resources of the strawberry to preserve it and introduce it into the culturehas been conducted. The most sustainable habitat for the existence of this species has been located near the village of Zimoviye.Western Kazakhstan.
