PECULIARITIES OF ECOLOGICAL RECONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION OF URBAN INDUSTRIAL ZONES TAKING INTO ACCOUNT INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Abstract

The main causes of the world environmental problems are associated with the intensive development of industrial production which predetermines an increase in the technogenic impact on the environment. Most large cities are characterized by unorganized location of industrial enterprises which has been formed for centuries. The unplanned construction led to a number of contradictions in the planning structure of the city; the main of which are: neighborhood of industrial, transport and housing areas; deterioration of sanitary and hygienic conditions in housing areas; excessive concentration of industrial enterprises in the central planning area of the city; the location of industrial enterprises on the banks of rivers and seas which isolates the city from water bodies; low architectural quality of industrial buildings. The paper considers ecological requirements for the reconstruction of industrial areas, as well as modern means of ecological rehabilitation of industrial zones taking into account the world’s experience.
