HYGIENIC ASSESSMENT OF WORKING CONDITIONS ON A RADIATION-HAZARDOUS FACTOR IN MINES

Natalia Aleksandrovna Mironenkova and Rostislav Dmitrievich Magomet

Abstract

Within the system for assessing the radiation situation, the issues of determining the level of radiation in the fields of solid minerals are of crucial importance, because during their development and disturbance of the rock mass integrity by the underground workings, the intensity of radiation exposure can rise significantly due to natural radionuclides. Based on the work specifics of the underground personnel of mining companies, it is possible to identify professions with non-regular jobsites, which do not take into account the actual impact of ionizing radiation on the underground personnel. Accounting for individual doses of radiation exposed to the personnel in underground structures of non-uranium mining enterprises is an urgent task. This article describes a method of hygienic assessment of working conditions of the underground personnel on radiation-hazardous harmful factor in the mines of non-uranium enterprises.
