ANALYSIS OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE MASHHAD METROPOLITAN CASE STUDY: THE ZONE 11 OF MUNICIPALITY OF MASHHAD, IRAN

Abstract

This research is based on principles and indexes of good urban governance and planning for upgrading. This research is done by evaluating the indices of a good governance have opened a ways to this. The research in this study is descriptive – analytical and it’s a useful to achieve this target population with a sample size of 200 questions were asked and views of citizens living in the eleventh municipality were analyzed. The results from the analyses of SPSS have checked with a parametric and non-parametric exam that shows governance in that region has significant differences and these are the reason: 1. Local managers’ consensus on the implementation of integrated management. 2. Increased coordination between administrative bodies. 3. The rule of law in the area of urban management in the city of Mashhad.
