CANOPY AND GROWTH MEDIA TEMPERATURE IN GERBERA UNDER POLYHOUSEK.V. KULKARNI, D.W. THAWAL AND A.A. SHAIKHAbstract Physical properties like porosity and bulk density was superior in treatments T8,T9,T10 and T4 due to combination of different media which also shows better results of vegetative and flower quality. The mean number of the highest flowers per plant was (50.17), highest flower diameter (14.10 cm), the higher stalk length of flower (60.91 cm), The highest diameter of the flower stalk (0.85 cm), the more vase life (15.96 days) and more leaf area index in treatment Cocopeat 40% +Red soil 30% + F.Y.M. 20% + Sand 10% (T8) . The least observations were recorded in the treatment T2 ,T1 and T3 which contains single media due to stress of nutrients and water.
