NIRMALA SUGIRTHA RAJINIAbstract Online Patient Health Record (PHR) enables users to manage medical record which facilitates the ease of storage, access and sharing health data. The encrypted PHR data will be stored in the cloud. By doing in this way the user can easily access their medical data in easy and flexible manner. To gain this access, there are several strategies are followed in traditional and current period. This article illustrates the various access control mechanisms that are used by the user to gain access and retrieve the PHR data from the cloud.
