Abstract

In the present investigation, studies were carried out with 7 fertilizer levels and 3 replications in randomized block design to study the effect of fertigation on yield and quality attributes in Citrus sinensis Osbeck cv. Mosambi. The treatments showed significant differences in respect to total soluble solids (9.40° Brix), total acidity (0.33%) and total sugar (7.43%) and other bioactive compounds & antioxidant compounds viz. ascorbic acid (51.74 mg/100g), total phenolics (156.4 μg GAEg) and flavonoids (13.3 mg/100g) with increase in dose of fertigation. Therefore, on the basis of result obtained it can be concluded that mosambi is highly responsive to fertilizer application for quality parameters. The fertilizer dose 120% RDF followed by 100% RDF appear to be the best at the age of 4 year, when applied in different split under high density planting condition.
