Abstract

In present study six fungicides viz., Hexaconazole (0.1%) Wettable sulfur (0.2%), Triadimefon (0.1%), Dinocap (0.2%), Tricyclazole (0.1%) and Tebuconazole (0.1%) were evaluated against O. mangiferae in the in vitro and field condition. In vitro result revealed that maximum inhibition in conidial germination (84.67 per cent) was observed in the treatment of Hexaconazole 5EC (0.1%) followed by Wettable sulphur 80WP (0.2%), Dinocap 48EC (0.2%) and Triademefon 25WP (0.1%) with 81.61, 80.34 and 73.65 per cent inhibition in conidial germination over untreated control respectively. Similar result was observed in field condition that, Hexaconazole 5EC (0.1%) and Wettable sulphur 80WP (0.2%) were found to be the most effective giving (16.67%) and (19.00%) powdery mildew severity and (72.82%) and (69.09%) disease reduction over untreated control (61.33%) respectively.
