E-waste recycling in India is fast emerging into a profitable business opportunity. Presence of companies like Attero, AER Worldwide and SIMS suggest the size of market opportunities in India. While WEEE directive and BASEL convention provide a foundational framework for e-waste management and handling rules in India, the implementation is constrained by consumer behavior, formal-informal divide and enforcement of rules.
