R. RAJALAKSHMI, T.V. ANANTHAN1 AND SHOBARANI

Abstract

Green computing is the recent advancement technology used in less energy consumption and for improving the efficiency of energy related products and fields. The vast changes of GovernmentÂ’s policies in e-waste management for encouraging energy recycling and to consume lower energy for individual uses, business operational units, software industries etc. are to be considered seriously. The main goal of green computing is to reduce the use of hazardous substances, maximization of energy efficiency by increasing the products lifetime, and the active promotion of recyclable and biodegradable of scrap materials from factory waste. This green technology is used for sustainability in using computers and related resources with no impact on the environment.
