ECO-FRIENDLY MANAGEMENT OF DOWNY MILDEW OF GARDEN PEA (PISUM SATIVUM L.)Nithin B Patil, Sunil Zacharia and Mamta KumariAbstract An experiment was conducted to evaluate different bio-agents (B. subtilis and T. harzianum), botanicals (NSKE and Lantana camara leaves extract) and biorationals (butter milk and cow urine) to manage downy mildew of pea. While evaluation, it was found that all the seven treatments were significantly superior over control in managing the downy mildew disease. Treatments T1 (Hexaconazole 5 EC- 0.05%), T4 (B. subtilis 0.2%), T3 (Lantana camara leaves extract 10%) and T5 (T. harzianum 0.4%) were significantly superior over other treatments in managing downy mildew disease. While evaluating all the treatments, B. subtilis (0.2%) was found as best treatment to control downy mildew disease after chemical treatment.
