GEOTHERMAL WATERS OF NORTH OSSETIA

Abstract

The article is concerned with hydrothermal conditions of the territory of North Ossetia-Alania. A brief outline of the history of the study of the spread of geothermal water in the republic is given. Zoning, depending on the structural situation and the thickness of individual strata of different geothermal characteristic is presented. Perspective areas for staging of exploration works in order to use geothermal water in the national economy in various hydrothermal conditions are allocated.
