KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ECO-FRIENDLY COTTON CULTIVATION AND THEIR ASSOCIATION WITH PERSONAL PROFILE OF COTTON GROWERS

Abstract

The present investigation was conducted in Bharuch and Narmada districts of Gujarat state, with operational area of Navsari Agricultural University. Total 240 respondents were selected for the study. Findings of this investigation states that majority (78.33 percent) of the cotton growers had adequate level of knowledge and independent variables studied like size family, land holding, annual income, resource availability, risk orientation, yield / ha., extension contact were significant with the Knowledge regarding eco-friendly cotton cultivation.
