ORGANIC FARMING: A NEW ERA NEED FOR BETTER LIVING

Abstract

Aim of organic farming is human welfare, without harming the environment along with soil. Tradition, innovation and science in combination are the modern concept of organic farming. The organic way of life was recognized in the year 1905, but it could gain importance in 1990’s by realizing the ill effects of modern agriculture, the demand for organic products, especially in developed countries has been increasing. Globally, organic agriculture is practiced in 162 countries and research results available for little over a decade confirm the yield advantages in many crops.
