LINEAR REGRESSION AND CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF WATER QUALITY PARAMETERS OF DAYA CANAL AT BHUBANESWAR, ODISHAS. JENA AND K.C. PRADHANAbstract Present study was carried out in Daya Canal to assess the rivers water pollution. Eight different sites were selected to collect samples which are regularly polluted by industrial, domestic and municipal wastes. Different parameters were measured and the data were used to statistical analysis. By calculating correlation coefficient r and drawing dotted graphs a good correlation was established between different parameter which shows a significant linear relationship between them.
