Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at Agronomy Research Farm of NDUAT, Faizabad (UP) to study the effect of moisture regime and integrated nutrient supply system on hybrid rice during kharif season of 2010. Various treatments of moisture regime and integrated nutrient supply system significantly influenced plant height, leaf area index, dry matter accumulation, grain and straw yields and total N, P and K uptake by hybrid rice. Significantly superior result was found with the application of 7 cm irrigation 1 DADPW among various moisture regimes. Application of recommended dose of NPK (150:75:60 kg/ha) through inorganic fertilizer was found superior over rest of integrated nutrient supply systems. Interaction effect between moisture regime and integrated nutrient supply system was found non-significant. The treatment combination of 7 cm irrigation 1 DADPW + 100% NPK (150:75:60 kg/ha) through inorganic fertilizer proved to be most remunerative and economical.
