ADSORPTION OF CU, NI, FE USING SUGARCANE BAGASSE FROM DIFFERENT RIVER WATER SAMPLES IN THE TOURISTS SPORTS OF KANYAKUMARI DISTRICTJ. SATYA AND B. INDIRANIAbstract The present study deals with the application of sugarcane bagasse, an agricultural waste for the adsorptive removal of Cu, Fe, Ni from river water. This paper incorporates the effect of contact time with constant temperature, dosage, particle size and agitation speed. Over all the present study suggest that sugarcane bagasse is an environment friendly, efficient and low-cost bio-sorbent which is very useful in the removal of Cu, Fe and Ni.
