A STUDY ON THE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT OBSTACLES DUE TO ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND PROVIDE APPROPRIATE SOLUTIONS FOR THEM IN THE KHORASAN RAZAVI PROVINCE– IRAN

Abstract

In this paper, the factors affecting underdevelopment tourism of Khorasan Razavi province were studied and four factors, i.e. weak infrastructural facilities, lack of marketing, lack of tourism culture acceptance and lack of a unit organization in tourism industry that seemed to be related with underdevelopment of Khorasan Razavi provinceÂ’s tourism industry, were provided as dimensions of the environmental Issues. After that regarding information have been collected and different aspects of the subject were identified through interviews with different people in different locations, using a questionnaire and conducting library research, and four factors (lack of infrastructural facilities, lack of marketing, lack of acceptance of tourism cultural and the multiplicity of decision making) which seemed to be associated with underdevelopment tourism of Khorasan Razavi has been identified that to answer this questions and to determine the relationship between these factors and the underdevelopment of the tourism industry in the Khoarsan Razvi province, four hypotheses were developed. According to kind of problem, to test the Research hypothesis the views of groups i.e. experts and tourists were used as the research statistical population and two types of questionnaires were used to do it. The questionnaires were distributed among the statistical population and after categorizing collected responses questions were analyzed by SPSS software. To test these hypotheses, statistical tests such as Spearman correlation test, Friedman test and t-test analysis were used.
