UTILISATION OF SOYBEAN OIL BY SOME BACTERIA AND THEIR GROWTH PATTERNPRATIBHA PANDEY AND A.O. INGLEAbstract The microorganisms are useful for production of many metabolites. Some bacteria like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and other isolates have been tested for utilisation of soyabean oil as substrate. Good growth showed that soya oil is a good source as a carbon compound for the tested organisms and the organisms are efficient for biodegradation of oil.
