A COMPUTER BASED APPROACH FOR ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF DEENBANDHU BIOGAS PLANT BASED ON CO-DIGESTION OF AGRI-WASTESSudhir Kharpude and Deepak SharmaAbstract The technology of conversion of animal dung feed into biogas is well established. Agricultural wastes can be digested either alone or in co-digestion.Co-digestion is the simultaneous digestion of a homogenous mixture of two or more feed stocks.In such a case utility of economic values of dairy animal based biogas plant for economic analysis of Agri-waste based biogas plant is not appropriate.The computer based approach was adopted using a software programme developed in Visual basic. The software is able to give complete economic analysis of biogas plants based on 5 feed stocks selected. This system can easily be adopted for design and planning of biogas plants based on agri-wastes.
