Abstract

A survey of wetland vegetation and their biodiversity of a perennial lake - Kukkarahalli Lake in Mysore city was under taken to assess ecological impact on the lake. A total of 78 taxa were identified and catalogued to 41 families of angiosperm, of which 59 genus and 66 species are dicotyledons, 14 genus and 15 species are monocotyledons, 3 pteridophytes and 1 charophyte.
