ISOLATION OF RHLZOBIUM FROM DIFFERENT VARIETES OF CHICKPEAJINTURKAR AND S.B. KALEAbstract Studies were undertaken some of the aspects of biological N- fixation in groundnut. Initially ninteen isolates were obtained from different locations of Marathwada region of Maharastra state. Based on the gram rection, ability to absorb congo red dye from yest extract man itol agar medium and nodulation on the indicator host siratro; all the ninteen isolates were identified and authencated.
