SCREENING OF VITEX NEGLINDO LINN, (F. VERBANAECEAE) AGAINST AS CITE TUMOR IN MIS MLISCULUSS. MUTHAZHAGU, R. TAMILVANAN, S. DURAIRAJ AND P. BASKARANAbstract Anti tumor property of Vitex negundo was assessed in group I (control), group II (Dalton's lymphoma ascites tumor induced); group III (DLA induced animals treated with V. negundo) by studying haematological parameters in Mus musculus on 15th and 30th day. Among the different groups, Group II animals showed the increase of total WBC, which restored to normal level in Group IV animals due to treatment and differential counts showed heterogeneous trends. Polymorphs and eosinophils were increased in Group IV and monocytes though present in Group I were disappeared in all groups except in group II on 30th day.
