STABILIZATION OF HAZARDOUS WASTE USING FLYASHTANUKU SRINIVAS, D. SRIVIDYA, P. SIREESHA AND B. SOWDAMINIAbstract Solid waste disposal is a major issue confronting the Industrialized world. Huge amount of solid waste generated annually have always created a disposal problem. We present here a simple and inexpensive method of stabilization of hazardous waste using flyash as the only binding agent. Using flyash as a resource the significant ash disposal problem can also be reduced. Development of ash utilisation technologies are important in view of economics and pollution minimization
