The effects of mercury, copper and cadmium on the R.B.C. of Boleophthalmus dussmieri, an edible estuarine fish, at different sublethal concentrations are reported in this paper, Different ,morpholoo,ical changes, viz., wrinkling of cell membrane, vaculization, thickening of cell membrane, disappearance of cell membrane etc. noticed.
