IN VITRO RELEASE OF PROTEINS IN LARVAL EXCRETORY- SECRETORY (ES) PRODUCTS FROM THE PARASITIC NEMATODE LARVAE OF ANCYLOSTOMA CANINUM

Abstract

Culture solution of Ancylostoma caninum larvae was used to estimate the proteins as larval excretory - secretory (ES) products. In vitro release of proteins as ES products was found from the parasitic nematode larvae of A. caninum. Protein level was estimated from cultures of day 4, 5, 6, 7, I 4, I 7, 20, 23, 26, 30, 45,60 and 70.The level of protein was progressively decreased from cultures of day 14 to 70.Thus. in this parasitic larval culture, proteins are being released as excretory — secretory proteins.
