VOLUMETRIC SURVEY OF AEROMYCOFLORA OF AURANGABAD

Abstract

Aeromycoflora of A'bad was studied in relation to environmental factors i.e. temperature, rainfall and humidity with the help of culture plate method during 2000-2001. 23 species of fungi were identified during present investigation. The Maximum number of fungi was variation in airspora during different season obtained in winter season, minimum In summer while moderate in rainy season. Some fungi like Asoeroillw. Alternaria and Cladosporium were observed through out the season; out of total fungal flora, the percentage contribution of phycomycotina was 13.0496, Ascomycotina 30.43%, Basidiomycotina nil, teuteromycotina 52.17% and mycelia sterile 4.34%.
