Abstract

Singrauli one of the largest coal mining area in the country, has immense potential for economic development. Singrauli is the foremost coal and power producing region in India. Singrauli area is located at the border of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Since 1960 the Singrauli region has witnessed tremendous development and virtually synonymous with coal, power and aluminum.The Climatological data were collected Climatological station at Forest and Environment department Singrauli. Following meteorological information is reported here: Maximum and Minimum temperature in 0°C Average Rain Fall in mm.
