LIMNOLOGICAL STUDY OF PANZARA DAM AND RIVER OF MAHARASHTRAY.S. More and S.N. NandanAbstract The present investigation was carried out on limnology of Panzara Dam and river of Pimpalner, Maharashtra, India. Three stations of each dam and river were selected for collection of water and algal samples during 2 years study from January 1994 to December I 995.The 4 group of algae viz. Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Bacillariphyceae and Euglenineae were studied in relation to physico-chemical parameters. An attempt has been made to find out the correlation of algal Periodicity and Physico-Chemical parameters.
