Abstract

An experiment was conducted to evaluate. The effect of different combinations of spacings, fertility levels and interculture operations on the physiological growth parameters of irrigated mustard (Brassica juncea L. Czern arid Coss.).The study revealed that the treatments have significant effects on dry matter accumulation, LAI, CGR, RGR and NAR of mustard. All these parameters indicated their superiority with closer spacing of 45 and 60 cm combined with higher doses of fertilizers over wider spacing of 90 cm combined with different fertility levels. At harvest significant higher dry matter accumulation was recorded with the treatment having 60 cm row spacing + I 20 : 60 :80 N : P205 : K20 kg/ha + FYM @ 20 t/ha + interculture with hoe.
