ADAPTIVE RESPONSE 4N HUMAN LYMPHOCYTES EXPOSED TO LOW LEVEL GAMMA RADIATION IN VITRO

Abstract

Adaptive response in lymphocytes to in vitro exposure of radiation was tested by exposing the cells to 3.5 mGy gamma radiation (conditioning treatment) followed by 20 JUV radiation (challenging treatment). The results indicate significant response to in vitro exposure to low doses of radiation.
