Abstract

In the experiment effect of harvesting at different maturity stages on yield in Banana, cv. Grand Naine showed maximum length, diameter and straight fruits with maximum yield more pulp skin ratio, early ripening and minimum losses in fruit weight. In general fruits of banana cv. Grand Naine should be harvested at late maturity stages of 115 and 130 days from initiation of hands in the bunch. weight loss of the produce when harvested in between
