D.Poornima and G.R. Shivamurthy

Abstract

Protocols for in vitro propagation of woody ornamental flowering climbers are very much limited. An attempt has been made to induce rapid clonal propagation of Q. indica using nodal segments. As many eleven to thirteen shoots regenerated from a single axillary meristem of the node on Woody Plant Medium supplemented with 4.0 mg/ L BAP. Shoots induced roots on WPM with IBA (5.0mg/L).
