COMPATIBILITY STUDIES HI SOME GRAPE CULTIVARS

Abstract

The Maximum fruit set (68.18%) as well as final berry harvest (61.36%) was obtained when Muscat was pollinated with Thompson Seedless. Pandhari Sahebi x Thompson Seedless, combination resulted in good fruit set (64.63%) and final berry harvest (59.17%). The lowest fruit set (35.64%) was recorded in Bangalore purple x Thompson Seedless combination. However, the final berry harvest was lowest in Bangalore purple x Rubi Red (22.26%). The fruit drop was lowest (8.45%) in Pandhari Sahebi x Thompson Seedless combinetion.
