Abstract

A case study on the quality of five ponds waters of Vadodara region, Gujarat is made. This study aims at the assessment of extent of pollution caused by the industrial effluent, domestic waste waters and agricultural runoff. Heavy metal studies were also carried out. The study reveals that the ponds are not contaminated as per Bureau of Indian Standards of Drinking Water ( I 99 I).
