Abstract

A newly designed Biopreserver (pyramid) was employed for in vitro culture of Solarium trilobatum L. a medicinal plant using nodal explants. High frequency of multiple shoots were noticed in cultures incubated in Biopreserver than the cultures incubated in normal incubation room conditions. Maximum numbers of shoots were formed in MS-medium with 2-3mg/L of BAP
