EFFICACY OF VERMICOMPOST AND PLANT GROWTH PROMOTER ON TAGETES ERECT A L.KIRAN KUMAR SHWETA AND Y.P. SINGHAbstract Investigations were carried to find out the influence of vermicompost (VC) and vermiwash (VW) as a growth promoter on Tagetes erecta L. Various types of growth promoter viz, cow dung, banana leaf, Azotobacter, Phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB), Trichoderma, saw dust, paper pulp based VC and VW were applied in experimental plots. Banana leaf + cow dung + PSB based VC (@7.5 t/ha) and spray of 50% VW was found best for the total yield. While, poorest yield were recorded in sawdust + cow dung + Azotobacter based VC @15t/h.
