EVALUATION OF MLICLINA PRLIRIENS ON ENDOSULFAN INDUCED HEPATOTOXICITY IN MALE RATSM. R. RAJAN AND M. NAGARAJAbstract Endosulfan is a highly toxic pesticide in the toxicity class-I. It is now being extensively used in formulated form as a broad spectrum contact and stomach insecticide mainly in agriculture. Mucuna prunens acts a potent curative for endosulfan induced hepato toxicity. The toxicity brought about by the endosulfan is temporary when it is caused by low dosages. But endosulfan can be harmful to the body when consumed accidentlly. IVI-ucuna pruriens is a natural source for the preparation of potent cure for the insecticide induced toxicity. IVIucuna pruriens is reliable as a potent cure for endosulfan induced toxicity.
