STUDY OF SOME PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF GROUND WATER WITH REFERENCE TO CORRELATION STUDYM.K. PAUL AND A.K. MISRAAbstract Ground water samples were collected and analysed from Dug well, Railway supply water (RSW), Public Health Engineering (PHE) supply water and Ring well water samples. The samples were collected from Railway Township area and its adjoining areas for temperature, pH, conductance, TDS, TSS, TS, turbidity, hardness, total alkalinity, D.O., C.O.D., F -, Cl-, NO3 -, HCO3 -, SO4 -2, Na+. K+, Ca++, Mg+2, Fe. The results were considered for chemical correlation analysis and it was observed that many of the parameters bear good positive correlation but some bears a negative correlation.
