BIODIVERSITY OF OSTRACODS IN KOZHAPPALUR LAKE,TAMILNADU, INDIA

Abstract

The present study is based on planktonic Ostracods collected from Kozhappalur Lake twice a month overa period of two years (January, 2019 to December, 2021). In total, seven species belonging to six generawere identified. The detailed description of Ostracods recorded during this study is presented forsubstantiating the taxonomic relevance of the study.
