STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF INDUSTRIAL DISCHARGES AND WASTES ON SEASONAL CROP COTTON AROUND NEEMRANA INDUSTRIAL AREA, ALWAR (RAJASTHAN)R. N. YADAV AND SANDEEP KUMARAbstract This research was conducted to study the effect of industrial discharges and wastes on seasonal crop cotton. Growth and production parameters were considered for this purpose. A cultivate land was selected of Mohlariya village nearby industrial area to find out the effect of industrial discharges and wastes on seasonal crop cotton. The growth of cotton plants were evaluated after duration intervals at one, two, three and four months. Growth and production results were compared with cotton crop which are cultivated far from the Industrial area. The results show that the growth as well as production of the cotton decreased in nearby industrial area land. To find out the reasons for decline in production and growth of cotton crop, ground water chemicals analysis has been carried out by authors. |
