SHAIMAA FATIH ALI AND BASHAR TAREQ AL-SHANDAH

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out in Euphrates river at Jazira region between Ramadi and Khalidiah cities/ Al- Anbar province during the period September 2013 to June 2014. Seven stations were selected, the first was located west to Ramadi city, and the last was at Khalidiah bridge. Plant nutritive of Nitrite, Phosphate and Silica were; (0.01-0.3)micro grams Nitrogen-atom-nitrite/L, (0.11-0.74) micro grams phosphorus- atom- phosphate/L and (0.58-1.39)mg/L silica respectively. The values of Chrome and Cobalt were between the allowed Iraqi values of drinking water and were (0.00-0.05) mg/L and (0.00- 0.02) mg/L respectively. The values of Lead and Nickel were extended beyond the allowed standard Iraqi values of drinking water and were (0.007-0.950) mg/L and (0.00-0.036) mg/L respectively. Statistical analysis results showed no significant differences between the station, while significant differences were obtained relative with time (pd" 0.05) for all the stations.
